Tracking Veteran Homelessness

On any given night in January of this year, more than 62,000 veterans were homeless, a number that is slowly coming down. The map shows the number of veterans who were homeless on that given night, and their share of the state's overall homeless population that night. The largest number of homeless veterans lives in California, New York, Florida and Texas.
